Kaimira animation test: sneak peek

Posted by: rettstatt   in fantasy, kaimira, transmedia

I’ve mentioned the work I’ve been doing with BBC Worldwide to develop the Kaimira story for other platforms (such as TV, film, and gaming). I finally got permission to show a sneak peek at a direction we’re exploring for animation. When these are final, they’ll be part of a short animation test.

The disclaimers are: we’re still in exploratory phase, so any of this could change at any time. So this is just a peek at the process, not the final thing. Also, please don’t use the images without permission.

These look great, Chris! I’m excited to see that the BBC will be producing this. Their production quality consistently amazes me. It must be fantastic to see your vision of Kaimira coming to life like this.

From a completely personal point of view, I hope they keep the little
creature with the blue/purple wings. I really like that one. It is enjoyable
seeing your descriptive words coming to life. You know I’m pleased with
the first book and and waiting not so patiently for the rest!
